Winning
with March Madness Predictions
March Madness Predictions for the NCAA Basketball Tournament
So have you been keeping up with the off-season? Got your picks
all set for the first week? If not, do not despair. Now is not a
bad time to start researching your teams and checking out a few
March Madness predictions. Nothing is better than
going to a sportsbook in confidence and getting over on the lines.
When your NCCA tournament predictions play out, you can gain a sense
of pride along with a healthy wallet for getting the early jump.
The NCAA basketball tournament doesn't have to be in effect to know
what and what not to do. First and foremost - never pick all the
number one seeds and ride them to the Final Four. Having all four
teams make it to the semifinals is very unlikely. In fact, the last
time three teams made it to the Final Four was 2001. Keep in mind
that March Madness Picks are
far different from daily NBA selections which are much more predictable.
Because there always seems to be an upset or two every year, taking
risks often pays off when the underdogs come out on top.
When making NCCA tournament predictions, it's
not as much about the attractive selection as it is the smart pick.
Instead of looking at seeding and regular season records, read between
the lines and determine who really has the advantage. For instance,
if there is a number 5 team going up against a number 12 team, the
highest seed may not always have the momentum, especially if the
number 12 team just steam-rolled their way into the Sweet 16. Never
forget that the Cinderella teams always make their presence known
during March Madness. Just think, George Mason was basically an
unheard of that ended up making it all the way to the Final Four.
While most of us didn't have George Mason in our brackets at the
time, more sports bettor have certainly become more conscious of
the underdog.
You don't have to study picks 8 hours a day and 7 days a week to
profit from March Madness. Learning about all the injuries, venues
and statistics will not guarantee you a winner either, but it surely
wouldn't hurt. By doing a little research, studying teams and planning
your picks, you could be on the way to winning big. Watch the odds
closely and make the smart choice for what you know it to be. The
number 1 and 2 teams are never a bad choice but keep an eye out
for the 4 and 5 seeds as well. Don't forget about Carmello Anthony
and Syracuse and how they were able to shock the world. There is
a slim chance of winning every game but you can certainly profit
off your fair share.
