Week 11 Preview and Predictions
Week Eleven Preview and Free Sports Picks in the National
Football League
With the beating the Indianapolis Colts have taken last week, the
“big three” hasn’t changed much, only positions
were switched, but it shouldn’t really mean a whole lot in
terms of what we are about to witness this weekend.
Indianapolis, (7-2 going into this game) will probably dismantle
the under .5 KC at home. These guys have pretty much been upset
twice in a row, and right now I think all they’re looking
for is some team to vent their frustrations on. Home field will
provide the perfect setting for the massacre.
Colts over Chiefs, and look for them to cover the spread, too. Also,
don’t be looking for hidden value in this one.
The more or less surprise member of the league’s elite, the
Green Bay Packers (8-1) are also dealing with a losing team at home.
This too should be a no-brainer, since the Pack has proven its worth
against much sturdier opposition this season than the 4-5 Panthers,
who still have trouble getting Steve Smith involved. On top of that
Green Bay has actually shown improvement last week, to tick one
in the W column for them, and look for the spread to be covered
as well.
The top Dog of the league, the New England Pats are back in action
after a week of rest. Whether or not this period of inactivity did
anything negative to their ability to focus against a much weaker
opponent (because that’s what they’re going to deal
with now), remains to be seen. If I were the Bills though, I wouldn’t
count on it. Still undefeated, the Pats are going to have to take
care of business on the road this time, but this game doesn’t
smell of hidden value at all. Remember, that usually requires a
potent underdog, and in this situation, despite their positive 5-4
record, that the Bills are not.
Well we’ve only had dull match-ups so far, let’s now
take a look at some more interesting – and potentially more
lucrative – games as well.
Cleveland vs Baltimore should be a pretty interesting one. While
Cleveland is the favorite here, make no mistake about it, (they’re
5-4 so far) Baltimore should have the potential to come up with
an upset at least ATS. Deep down inside we all know they’re
not going to take this one SU, but some hidden value could still
surface in this game.
Experts foresee a bleak future for the Ravens as the rest of the
regular season unfolds, some even go as far as to conclude they
won’t win any more games than the 4 they’ve bagged so
far.
San Diego vs Jacksonville should be the highlight of the week. This
time, the Chargers are the favs, but there are a few facts that
would suggest there just may be some value on the other side, not
only ATS but SU as well. Jacksonville is 6-3 so far this season,
and that’s one game better than the 5-4 the Chargers can boast.
On top of it, I’d say the Chargers only pass as the favorites
as long as they manage to bring the personality helped them beat
the Colts last week, and not the one they used against the Vikings.
There are a few question marks in this one for sure, but then again,
that could mean there will be some value in this one.
The 6-3 New York Giants vs the 6-3 Detroit is another one to watch.
The Giants are slight favs in this, but then again bookies could
underestimate the importance of home field advantage.
The only problem with match-ups such as this one and the above mentioned
one is, that all value has probably been handicapped and tweaked
out of them, because of all the attention that they get.
