The Memphis Tigers shocked the world of sports betting by dominating the UCLA Bruins in route to a 78-63 victory. Kevin Love was able to keep the Bruins close in the first half as they only trailed 38 - 35. However, it was all Memphis in the second half as they outscored UCLA 40-28. Freshman Derrick Rose led the way with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to easily cover the spread and go over the 141 total.

The late game on Saturday featured the North Carolina Tar Heels vs. the Kansas Jayhawks. North Carolina came in as a 3 point favorite, but they found themselves down 40-12 by the surprising Jayhawks. It is rather obvious that Kansas caught the Tar Heels off guard as they built up a 17 point lead at half time. As expected, North Carolina staged what could have been the greatest comeback in Final Four history as they trimmed the deficit down to five. The Tar Heels eventually ran out of gas in the end and fail 84-66. Brandon Rush put up 25 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists to lead the Jayhawks to the NCAA championship game.

Monday night's game features two number one teams who have made great free sports picks throughout the tournament. While they received a huge scare against Mississippi State in round two, Memphis essentially dominated the South Regional bracket with convincing wins over Michigan State and Texas before routing the UCLA Bruins. The Tigers have played well all season with the best record in the nation. Having lost only one game, Memphis is once again the preferred free sports pick as predicted by the experts.

The Kansas Jayhawks have also played well throughout the tournament. Even though North Carolina was the number overall seed, Kansas outplayed them on every level to score a major upset. The Jayhawks rolled through the tournament with blowout wins against Villanova, UNLV and Portland St. Their biggest scare came from Davidson in which the game went down to the final seconds in a 59-57 Kansas victory.

The spectacular guard play of the Memphis Tigers opened the books and had them placed as a 1.5 point favorite with a total of 144. On paper, Kansas appears to match up well with the Tigers and the experts have taken note, dropping the line to favor Memphis as a 1 point victor with a total of 145.5.

The 2008 NCCA March Madness tournament has been filled with excitement and a few surprises as well. For the most part, the road to the National Championship game has been an easy one thanks to your free sports picks.

Memphis vs. Kansas will tip off at approximately 9:15 pm on Monday April 7. There is big money on the line so make the smart pick and most importantly, enjoy the game.
